Apple Founder Steve Jobs Dead At 56

Apple Founder Steve Jobs Dead At 56

Steve Jobs is dead. Yes this is shocking news. He resigned as the chief executive officer of Apple in August. He named Tim Cook as his successor. He said that he was no longer capable of meeting his duties as Apple’s CEO. He said the Apple’s brightest and most innovative days were still in the future and that he looked forward to those days and that he wanted to contribute to that too.

Steve Jobs had pancreatic cancer in 2004. Two year ago he had a liver transplant. He was at the iPad2 launch in March and he was also at the annual developer conference in June. Jobs is the greatest innovator of his times and he was the mastermind behind the iPhone and the iPad.  It was his vision and his passion that made Apple what it is today.

Even though Tim Cook is very capable of stepping into his shoes, Steve Jobs will be missed. I will definitely miss him and so will millions of others.  I do not know what will happen to the Apple stock but I strongly believe that Tim Cook will be able to handle the company and will be able to take Apple in a new direction. Innovation will not be dead at all. It is such a shock especially coming right after the latest Apple Announcement.  Jobs grew up in Cupertino, California and was born in February 24, 1955. He dropped out of Reed College after only one semester. However he did return to audit a class in Calligraphy. This is what has lead to the graceful aesthetic of Apple.  His first job was designing video games for Atari. He quit this job and then backpacked across India. This is what gave him the creative vision that carried Apple into a brilliant future. He said that you have to trust in something. This has led him forward and has made all the difference in his life.

There can be no tribute to such a great man. The loss will be devastating to millions of his fans who cannot imagine Apple without him. Your fans love you and may you rest in eternal peace.

Www.NYTimes.com – New York Times – Norway Shooting and Bomb Attack Breaking News

At the New York Times website at www.nytimes.com, you can get the latest information on the bomb hit in Oslo Norway. These were two separate attacks. There were bomb explosions in the government center in Oslo. Then children of the governing Labor Party members were attacked on an island summer camp. So far seven people died in the attack and at least 15 people are injured. One person was arrested for both attacks. This was a Norwegian.

The bomb attack was scary as it looked like a terrorist attack. You can see pictures of the devastation that this caused at www.nytimes.com. The Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stolenberg was not hurt by the attack. A man dressed as a cop opened fire at the summer camp. This was 20 miles from the bomb devastation in Oslo. The scared kids jumped into the water. They were on an island and were trying to swim to the mainland. There is no bridge to cross. Some other teenager hid. There are all kinds of rumors as to how many people died on the island. Police think the numbers will rise. Police believe that there is a connection between the two incidents.

Casey Anthony Has Been Released From Jail – Is She Still A Danger To Society?

Casey Anthony Has Been Released From Jail – Is She Still A Danger To Society?

If you have been watching the Casey Anthony trial, you will know that Casey Anthony was acquitted by the jury. This still shocks me as I do not understand how that happened. To me she is guilty of the crime of killing her daughter Caley. She walked out of the Florida jail early this morning a free woman. Many people had been waiting outside to witness her release. Whether they were in support of the release or not is not clear. But many tried to follow the vehicle she was in and ended up blocking the eastbound lanes. The police had to clear the crowd.

Some of those in the crowd waiting for her release had camped out the day before. Some of these were in support of Casey. However, she had also received threats. What are your thoughts? Do you think that Casey Anthony is innocent. I do not think so. All I see are the pictures of her little daughter. How could she have partied after her daughter’s death. How could she have gotten the Bella Vita tattoo? Who is this woman who is so heartless and cold?
