The original lawsuit is entitled Daniel Cox, et al. v. Clarus Marketing Group, LLC, et al. The Case number is 11-cv-2711-H (RBB). The reason for the lawsuit was that those who had ordered from a Provide Commerce website were automatically enorled in FreeShipping.com without knowing that this was happening. So if you bought anything from a Provide Commerce, Inc webstie from February 16, 2007 to November 19, 2012 can take part in the FreeShipping.com Rebate Membership Class Action Lawsuit Settlement at www.ShippingRebateMembershipSettlement.com. There is also a subclass that will also be entitled. This subclass ordered from one of the sites operated by Provide Commerce, Inc websites from April 1, 2009 to December 13, 2009. Some of the actual websites involved are ProFlowers.com, RedEnvelope.com and CherryMoonFarms.com. Two other websites are SecretSpoon.com and Berries.com.

So if you do decide to take part in the FreeShipping.com Rebate Membership Class Action Lawsuit Settlement which can be found at the www.ShippingRebateMembershipSettlement.com site, you will get some benefits. These benefits include 20% off code or a $15 credit. You can also get a cash award. What you get depends on whether you are a class member of a subclass member. Basically class members will get the 20% off and the subclass members will get the $15 credit. And in addition some subclass members may be entitled to get the cash award.

If you do not want to take part in the lawsuit because you want to file on your own or because you think the compensation in this one is not enough and you would rather take part in other lawsuits against the company, then you can definitely do so. You will have to submit this request to be excluded by March 19, 2013. This will have to be sent to the Claims Administrator. The address is provided at the website too. You will have to include certain information such as your full name, your address. Your telephone number is also required. In addition, you will have to submit the name of the actual class action. The most important item that you must include is a sentence that says that you want to be excluded. If you do not provide all that information, then your request may be considered invalid. When this happens, then you will remain as a class member. And if you did not file a claim form, then you will also not only be not excluded but you will also not get anything. So make sure you check on your status and provide all the information needed here.

If you do decide that this is something you want to get compensation for, then you must submit your claim form. You can do this online or via regular mail. If you decide to do this online, then you must enter your claim number and also your control number. Both these numbers can be found on the email that you should have received on this. However if you did not receive an email, you can still submit a claim form.

How many of you had had your identity stolen or had your bank card blocked by the bank due to suspicious activity on it and then had your credit destroyed because of it? I am sure many are in this situation. My best friend had her bank card blocked and since all her monthly payments came out of that card, she began to get notices from everyone she owed money too. This was terrible because then her credit was destroyed. This was sad because she was trying to buy a new car.

I have also heard of people who have had their identity stolen and then had to suffer from a bad credit because of it. And these are people who have had excellent credit before this happened to them. So if you are in any one of these situations, you will need to figure out who to fix your credit fast. However, there is no such thing. You can try to do a few things to fix your credit score, but it is not going to be fast. So the place to start is your credit report. You have to check that to make sure that there are no mistakes. If there are mistakes, you can dispute them. This will take a while though so you will have to be patient.

Another way to repair your bad credit is to make credit payments on time. This will increase your credit or your FICO score quickly. However it is not as quick because it will take months to show you paying off your credit on time. But if you are patient and make sure that the payments are made, you will see the rewards. I always have a tendency to forget so I have now set up automatic deductions. For the longest time I resisted this because I did not feel comfortable about it at all. This will help you tremendously if you are having difficulties paying the monthly payments. I was afraid to try this because I did not think anyone would do anything for me. I was surprised to find out how helpful they were and how they were willing to work with me.

One thing that I never knew about but recently found out is that you should not close unused credit cards. I thought this would benefit my credit but I was wrong. So whatever you do, if you have paid down the balance on a credit card, do not close that account. My suggestion is to put your card someplace where you will not use it. My biggest fear was that I would start using it and then I would accumulate debt on the card again. Another option is for you to cut up the card. Then you will never be able to use it but the account would still be open.

Did you know that if you opened too many new accounts that this will actually lower your credit score? This will affect you negatively if you do not have a long credit history. This will also affect you negatively if you do not have too much credit.  Hopefully keeping all this in mind will help you to increase your credit score.

How To Write A Business Plan

If you are thinking about starting a small business, the first thing you need to do is to write a business plan. This is a roadmap that will help you succeed. This plan will tell you what you will need to do. There are a number of different elements that you will have to write if you want to write a comprehensive business plan. The different elements are  the executive summary, the company description, market analysis, organization and management, service or product line, marketing and sales, funding request, financial projections and appendix. Let us look at each one of these elements.

The first is the executive summary. This is the most important element. This will provide information such as why your business will be a success. You will also provide information such as the present status of your company and the future status of your company. You should include the mission statement, the company information, the growth highlights, the product services that your company offers, the financial information of your company and the future plans. This should be provided in only one page. If you are just starting your business, you may not have detailed information on any of this.

The second element in your business plan is the company description. This will provide information about your business and what it is that your company will do. Here you will have to provide explanation on why there is a need for this business in the marketplace. You will also have to describe the products that you will be selling or the services that you will be providing. You will have to explain how the products or services will assist in filling in this need.

The third element is the market analysis. You will have to do this before you launch your business. One piece of information that you will have to include in your market analysis is your target market. This is important because you want to show that you have a market size that is manageable. Some information that can be included here is demographics of your market. Purchasing trends is another key factor to include. You can also include how much market share you expect to get. Pricing is also very important. You will have to specify your pricing structure. Explain any discounts that you may plan to use. You should also include the competitive analysis. This is where you identify your competition. Find out their strengths and weaknesses and also their market share. Also get information on how the market will be affected by your business.

The next element is Organization and Management. Here you will explain the organizational structure. You will also provide information on your management team. You will also have to provide information on your board of directors. These are important to specify the people and what they do in your business. Explain the responsibility of each person. You should also provide ownership info here.  This should include not only the names of the owners but also the percentage of that ownership. You should also mention how the ownership is defined. Is it in terms of common stock or limited partner or general partner or even preferred stock.

The next element that you should write about is Service or Product. Provide information on what you are going to sell if you are selling a product. Also provide information on the type of service and the benefit of the service to your customers if you are providing a service. After this you will be writing about marketing and sales. Basically you will have to specify you will be marketing your business. This is usually a very tough thing to do. So what will be your sales strategy. After this you will be writing about funding. If you need funding in order to either start your company or operate your company, then you will need to provide this information in detail. For example, what type of funding you are looking for and from whom will you get this funding.

The next item after this is the financial projections. Here you will need to provide information on how much finances you will need in order to operate your business. So basically you will have to provide a projection. The last element, the appendix is actually optional and you can provide information such as leases and resumes.

How To Make Your Own Printed Fabric

I really enjoy watching Project Runway. One of my favorite challenges is the printed fabric challenge. The designers get to make their own patterns and get it printed on fabric. I always wanted to be a part of that challenge because I think I would be able to make great fabric patterns. Can you imagine making your own printed fabric?  It is great that they can make their patterns, and print it out and then the next day or so, they get a roll of fabric delivered and they get to see their patterns and then make a dress or something from it.

It always amazes me how some of these designers can come up with the most hideous patterns. They have no idea what the fabric will look like from their drawings. There have however been some great patterns and great designs. If you can draw, you can create great fabric patterns. Even if you cannot draw, you can still make some great fabric patterns. I so want to try this out. So I looked on the Internet to see what I could do. I was surprised when I found a website where I could actually upload my pattern and then buy either a swatch or an entire yard if I wanted to. A swatch would be about $5 and an entire yard would be about $15.75.

What is great is that you can see a preview of what your fabric will look like before you order. As I watched Project Runway and saw how some of the designers thought that their fabric pattern will be really great and then seeing the bolt of material they get and watch them struggle with trying to figure out how to make the fabric work, it never failed to amaze me that they could not tell what 3 yards of the fabric looked like and how they would design that into a pattern.

Sometimes when I go to a fabric store and look at the choices of patterns, I am amazed that someone designed something so bad. Then I tell myself that not everyone has the same taste. What is hideous to me may be absolutely beautiful to someone else. So who am I to say that what someone else designed is ugly? I guess there is a place for everything. What I think is not appropriate for a dress may work well for a tablecloth for example, So there can be many uses of a piece of fabric.

I even remember working when I was an undergrad with a woman who owned a house which she rented out. She would go to flea markets and buy cheap material and frames.  Then she would put a frame around a cheap piece of material and make it look like a piece of art. She would then decorate the house with these pieces of art. I would always be amazed at how elegant they would look and how they changed the room and made it warmer and more inviting.

So what I am saying here is that you do not have to worry about your pattern. Some one will like it and someone will have a use for it. It may not be for what you had intended it for but as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. One piece may look at a piece of fabric and think dress. Another might look at it and say curtain. Yet another make think tablecloth. Someone else may say that the piece of fabric would look great on their walls.

So since I have always wanted to do this, I am going to design something and upload it on the website. Actually I have an empty spot on top of my fireplace. I have been looking for a painting for a long time that would fill that spot. However the ones that I have liked have been way too expensive and beyond my budget. So I am going to take a page of the woman that I worked for’s book. Why not create a piece of art work in the form of fabric? I may never be able to sell my art work but at least I can enjoy it. Who knows someone may even recognize my talent and pay me to make something for their walls.
